I was featured on the RubCult blog

Experiences

During my roughly year hiatus from working on Rubberium, I didn’t stop creating or getting involved in the rubber community. In August 2025, MuddRubb interviewed me for the third volume of RubCulter, a series dedicated to featuring RubCult members.

In the article, I discuss what rubber means to me, how I got into kink, and how I’ve furthered myself in the kink community through sharing photos and videos online.

Here’s a sample:

“To me, rubber is a way to be my true self. I’ve always dealt with self confidence issues and some body dismorphia. I’ve never considered myself attractive. But when I wear latex, I know I look my best in it, with the way it conforms to my body like a second skin. I feel like who I was born to be, like the very best version of myself, the guy who is finally cool and hot. I don’t ever get compliments on how I look, but when I wear rubber, I get dozens of messages from admirers. It’s uplifting and builds self-esteem.

“But, it goes beyond just looks and self confidence. Wearing rubber is like a second skin, and I love the way it covers the body completely. I love the idea of being encased in it, shielded from the outside.”

You can read more of the interview on the RubCult blog.

One of the greatest things about the interview to me is the goals I set. I’ve already accomplished so much since August, it’s actually crazy to look back at. I was able to attend MIR29 in Chicago in October, move out of my parents’ place and into my own apartment, and meet so many members of the community.
